Humboldt Redwood Company is seeking Summer Forestry Technicians! The position offers an hourly rate of $25.00 and includes benefits.
The Summer Forestry Technician position is an approximate 10-week HRC Forestry position tailored to the working needs of the forestry department, and the forestry interests of the successful applicant including potentially forest science applications such as wildlife surveys, geology and hydrology. The position reports to an Area Manager and typically involves technician assistance with some or all the following activities including timber harvest plan preparation, timber marking, timber cruising, and road inventories. Dependent upon the successful applicants interests and the current need of the company, the position may also involve assistance with forest science department activities such as Northern Spotted Owl (NSO) surveys, geologic investigations, and hydrology.

Humboldt Redwood consists of forestry as well as lumber manufacturing and distribution operations.
