Humboldt Redwood Company is seeking a GIS Developer I. This position is an onsite position and can be based in Ukiah, Fort Bragg or Scotia.
We are looking for an organized, systematic, and thoughtful GIS Developer to join our team of scientists and forestry professionals in managing forestlands with a high degree of environmental stewardship. Primary duties include automating and programming GIS processes for desktop, mobile, and online platforms for Mendocino and Humboldt Redwood Companies Enterprise GIS system. This includes data management within an Enterprise geodatabase system as well as management of front-end online content within an ArcGIS Enterprise Portal. This position requires a programming and GIS software background to support the needs of forestry and forest science staff for reliable data review, analysis, and reporting. A successful candidate would take a strong initiative to contribute to problem-solving as part of a small GIS team reporting to the GIS Manager.
The base salary for this position is $75,000 to $90,000 depending on experience. Your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic locations, skills, education and/or experience. Please keep in mind that that the range published is the full base salary. We also offer a generous benefits package.
