We have Immediate job placement available for Experienced Sawfilers at our Ukiah, CA Sawmill! You will work on the saw filing team in all aspects of saw filing including; inspect and repair saws and machine centers, changes and sets up chip heads on quad and gang edger in a safe and productive manner.

Inspects and repairs saws and machine centers, changes and sets up chip heads on quad and gang edger in a safe and productive manner.
Previous saw and knife grinding experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must maintain and carry a valid California driver license and remain eligible and capable of operating company vehicles, including automobiles and trucks, in accordance with company policy guidelines
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
To perform this position successfully, an individual should have basic computer skills and knowledge of software
