Mendocino Forest Products is looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to Lead our Recruiting team. The Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for the execution and management of the recruitment / hiring process, including internal recruitment for all staffing levels in a compliant and ethical manner inclusive of management/professional, technical, operational and support positions in multiple states.

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for providing effective and outstanding customer service for our customer by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products, programs as well as effectively communicating with internal and extended external team members.

  • Manage full cycle recruitment activities with diverse levels of talent acquisition, with aim to attain maximum retention and placement rate.
  • Provide support to 900+ employees across 7 states with operations and business locations.
  • Execute and support production schedules and seasonal modifications in line with workforce requirements utilizing ATS, social media, radio, and television resources.
  • Develop talent acquisition strategies and build the people network to leverage company growth and success.
  • Direct teams in performing recruitment procedures, utilize various sourcing techniques, and operate Applicant Tracking System within talent acquisition processes.
  • Utilize consultative approach to build relationships with candidates possessing excellent communication, decision-making, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Full execution of the recruitment process utilizing the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) iCIMS to manage job postings, position development and maintenance, application review, pre hire and post hire success.
  • Manage the Onboarding process to complete all requisitions.
  • Manage tactical and strategic recruiting decisions for plant managers and superintendents with direct hire and agency staffing services to support company needs.
  • Work closely with Managers and HR to complete documents for hires and internal movement, promotion, and transfers.
  • Research market data, conduct competitive rate analysis, build reports, and make recommendations for senior management decision making to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Manage all Truck Driver hiring and onboarding including FMCSA and DOT compliance and pre hire requirements.
  • Execution of the recruitment social media communication as directed.
  • Monitor the job market and prepare analyses and summaries of the main job market movements.
  • Work with Managers to develop, maintain human capital plan(s), crewing rosters.
  • Report the progress of assigned vacancies on a regular basis, report any concerns, and provide regular feedback on the process including responsiveness internal and externally.
  • Represent company at all required events, including job fairs, career day and Company functions.
  • Maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or technical school with HR emphasis a plus
  • Minimum of eight years full cycle recruiting experience.
  • Expert at developing recruitment approaches and building people network to leverage company growth and success.
  • Ability to direct teams in performing recruitment procedures, utilize various sourcing techniques, and operate Applicant Tracking System within talent acquisition processes.
  • Self-managed leader having consultative relationships with candidates possessing excellent communication, decision-making, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of federal and California laws and regulations as it pertains to recruiting
  • Working knowledge of compliance requirements in the following areas: EEO, IRCA, ADA/FEHA
  • Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication, and exceptional phone etiquette required
  • Basic Analytical skills and presentation abilities

Physical Requirements
