Allweather Wood (AWW) is looking for an experienced Millwright to work at our pressure treated  full-line manufacturing and distribution facility in Coos Bay, Oregon. The Allweather Wood (AWW) facility specializes in Hem-fir products for the Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Utah, Montana, and Idaho markets. The Allweather Wood facility inventories over 8 million feet of Lumber, Plywood, and Miscellaneous treated items. Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment.

• Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment
• Dismantle defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts
• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery
• Operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts
• Set up and operate machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools
• Strictly follow and abide by all safety rules and policies

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Three years related experience and/or training
• Must maintain and carry a valid driver license and remain eligible and capable of operating vehicles in accordance with company policy guidelines
• Background in preventive maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret documents (safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Basic Agebra and Geometry
• Ability to carry out instruction furnished in written, verbal or diagram form
• Capable of dealing with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties and responsibilities of this job, the employee is occasionally required to, sit; stand; walk; stoop or kneel, crouch or crawl; use hands
• The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and communicate
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 plus pounds
• Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes airborne particles, outside weather conditions
