Allweather Wood is looking for a  Sales Manager  to lead our Sales team in Woushagal, WA!  This person leads the regional sales team to effectively and profitably maintain and grow Allweather Wood and Humboldt Redwood’s market share for treated and redwood products. 

Allweather Wood, LLC (AWW) has full line preservative treated lumber manufacturing and distribution facilities in Washougal, WA and Loveland, CO.  These facilities specializes in Hem-fir, SYP and DF products for the Colorado, Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Utah, Montana, and Idaho markets. These Allweather Wood facilities inventory over 45 million feet of Lumber, Plywood, and Miscellaneous treated items.

  • Accountable for ensuring the highest level of customer service and support for the outside sales team
  • Manage aged inventory; motivating the inside sales team; assisting in the resolution of customer issues, including accounts receivable; and coaching and developing the inside sales team to maximize sales effectiveness.
  • Works with the operations team to ensure the accurate and timely fulfillment of all sales orders
  • Full time daily management of the regional inside sales team, to include pricing direction, sales volume and margin tracking and related input and feedback.
  • Issue resolution; development and implementation of customer programs; communication with purchasing to manage inventory levels
  • Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities with a goal of building and maintaining a world-class sales team
  • Foster a “best practices” environment with peers from other locations for improved sales
  • Openly and consistently communicate with purchasing and operations on customer, product and market issues and improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate regularly with sales teams regarding market conditions and trends, pricing, and order fulfillment opportunities.
  • Maintain knowledge of new product offerings in wood fiber market and work with sales to research potential new product
  • Manage multiple priorities, work with a sense of urgency, and demonstrate problem solving skills when
  • Provide market information to the sales team, purchasing team and our customers to streamline and continuously improve customer service and
  • Lead by example in establishing and enhancing relationships with customers so that we are their preferred vendor for not only treated and redwood products, but also as the go to vendor for new opportunities
  • Regularly visit customers ensuring inventory levels and product quality are acceptable, pursue marketing opportunities, and to assess sales performance and activity.
  • Ensure effective monitoring of consigned inventories.



  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of seven years sales experience preferably in a multi-location manufacturing or distribution operation within the building materials
  • Must maintain and carry a valid state driver license and remain eligible and capable of operating company vehicles including automobiles and trucks in accordance with company policy
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and/or employees of the organization and communicate effectively by telephone, in person and in writing
  • Position has travel requirements of a regional nature up to 25% of the time
  • Proven success at building strong and/or long-term relationships with vendors, customers, and co-workers.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook

  • The employee will regularly work in or around warehouse or production areas.
  • Noise levels can be moderate to loud when outside of the office areas.
  • Safety Glasses, reflective vests and safety shoes are required outside of the office areas.
