Inside Sales Associate Wanted!!  Allweather Wood, LLC. ( AWW) is looking for a dynamic Insides Sales Associate to join our Northern California Sales team in Woodland, CA! 


As a high performing Inside Sales Associate, you will serve a s a key point person and resource to establish and enhance sales relationships with customers. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Interprets and implements management policies and operating practices
  • Serves as a key point of contact and resource for the sales team
  • Communicates inventory policies regarding shortages, price increases and pricing transitions directly to the customer
  • Participates in the development and communication of quarterly and year end data with program customers
  • Provides input regarding long and short-term planning of business objectives
  • Investigates and resolves significant customer matters including customer complaints as directed
  • Communicates order status and order issues to the sales team and other members of the organization as needed
  • Facilitates the proper handling and approval of customer documents
  • Acts as a liaison between customers, sales team, and other departments within the organization
  • Partners with the sales team to quote product details to the customer
  • Maintains current and accurate customer files and information
  • Prepares and processes sales orders; receives orders from customers and communicates pricing
  • Quotes stocking prices and special orders
  • Makes outgoing calls to sell stock product, aged inventory, and specials
  • Assists in inventory management working closely with the inventory planner to expedite orders and ensure full truckloads
  • Communicate and promote new products, training applications and promotions to customers
  • Reviews and resolves customer quality and shipment matters
  • Coordinates with the distribution center to expedite orders as necessary and assists with pre and post sales tasks


  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in lumber sales/distribution or related field.
  • Must maintain and carry a valid driver license and remain eligible and capable of operating company vehicles including automobiles and trucks in accordance with company policy guidelines
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
  • Ability to use a keyboard and mouse, Communicate, and read and interpret documents
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form
  • Working knowledge of the lumber industry preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.


Physical Requirements: 

  • Frequently required to sit for long periods of time; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands
  • While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit and communicate and frequently required to stand and walk
  • The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms; pack or move boxes with accounting records.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision.
  • This position requires the employee to view a computer screen and use a keyboard for extended period.
  • Position has travel requirements of a local nature to other sites (within 10 miles).
  • Throughout the year the employee will be required to perform duties which may require driving or unloading boxes at storage site, in all types of environmental conditions.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • May work in or around warehouse or production areas.
