Humboldt Redwood Company (HRC) is seeking a Registered Professional Forester (RPF) to join our Forestry team in Scotia, CA.
This is a full-time supervisory position that involves working closely with the Forest Manager for the purpose of meeting forest stewardship and business objectives. Primary duties include Timber Harvest Plan (THP) preparation, contract administration, timber marking supervision, road system management, Geographical Information Systems (GIS), and the long term sustained yield of high value timber products. The position requires working in a wide range of weather and field conditions. The key areas of focus for this position are as follows;
