Overview

Mendocino Forest Products is looking for a Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team in Santa Rosa, CA. The Marketing Manager will Manage marketing campaigns to promote the Company and products, enhance brand awareness online and drive website traffic to acquire customers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide marketing and sales support to the Marketing Director
  • Plan, promote, and execute in-person and virtual events including continuing education lunch and learns, webinars, meetings, and trade shows
  • Follow up and record leads, maintain database of architects for event invitations
  • Create social media content across channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and YouTube
  • Monitor social channels and reply to online messages and comments
  • Evaluate new digital technologies to stay ahead of ongoing social media trends
  • Update Company websites
  • Review and communicate opportunities to improve usability, design, and content of Company websites
  • Design internal and external marketing collateral including brochures, banners, signage, and other collateral upon request
  • Write and edit marketing communication materials
  • Support customer marketing initiatives to drive sales results
  • Assist in creating radio, television, print, and digital advertisements
  • Communicate and work in a team environment with broad stakeholder groups, co-workers, vendors, and customers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from a four-year college
  • Minimum of  three (3) years related experience and/or training or a minimum of Five (5) years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator is desired
  • Write routine reports and correspondence, monitoring analysis and reports as needed with minimal errors
  • Present information and respond to questions from co-workers, supervisors, customers and the general public
  • Must maintain and carry a valid driver license and remain eligible and capable of operating company vehicles in accordance with company policy guidelines

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly required to sit for long periods of time, stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and communicate and occasionally required to stand and walk
  • This position requires the employee to view a computer screen and use a keyboard for an extended period
  • Vision abilities required include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Position has travel requirements of both locally and out-of-state up to 20% of the time
