    Mendocino Forest Products (MFP), Allweather Wood (AWW), and Humboldt Redwood Company (HRC) is looking to add a Mill Sales Representative to our Sales team. This position can be a remote office location. Please see below;

    Responsibilities

    • Work with sales team to sell the production volume for the GDF (Green Doug Fer) and Redwood product lines.
    • This includes issue resolution and implementation of customer satisfaction goals.
    • Foster a “best practices” environment with coworkers for improved sales procedures.
    • Openly and consistently communicate market issues and improvement initiatives.
    • Communicate regularly with sales teams regarding market conditions and trends, pricing and order fulfillment opportunities.
    • Maintain knowledge of new product offerings.
    • Manage multiple priorities, work with a sense of urgency, and demonstrate problem solving skills when needed.
    • Provide market information to streamline and continuously improve customer service and satisfaction.
    • Lead by example in establishing and enhancing relationships with customers so that we are their preferred vendor for GDF and redwood products and other opportunities.
    • Regularly visit customers ensuring inventory levels and product quality are acceptable and to pursue marketing opportunities.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • Minimum of seven years sales experience preferably in a multi-location manufacturing or distribution operation within the building materials
    • Must maintain and carry a valid state driver license and remain eligible and capable of operating company vehicles including automobiles and trucks in accordance with company policy
    • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and/or employees of the organization and communicate effectively by telephone, in person and in writing
    • Position has travel requirements of a regional nature up to 25% of the time
    • Proven success at building strong and/or long-term relationships with vendors, customers and co-workers.
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook
